Director of Business Development

Position: Director of Business Development at Rheinmetall
Drive growth and strategic development as the Director of Business Development at Rheinmetall Canada. Lead initiatives to capture Canadian and international defense opportunities with a focus on air defense and surveillance.

As the Director of Business Development, you will help achieve significant order intake while enhancing Rheinmetall's positioning in strategic markets. With over 10 years of experience in defense, strategic planning, and business acumen, you will develop innovative proposals and lead pursuit teams to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve order intakes for defense opportunities

• Execute strategic development and positioning plans

• Create innovative proposals for major projects

• Lead capture teams in complex opportunities

• Maintain awareness of competitive market technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in engineering and MBA or equivalent

• 10+ years in the defense and security industry

• Knowledge of Canadian government procurement

• Strong negotiation and partnership skills

• Proficiency in English;
French is an asset
