• Leading and supporting a team of trades and lead hands to ensure safe, efficient execution of maintenance and construction activities
• Setting performance expectations, conducting performance reviews, coaching, and development planning
• Participating in hiring, career development, and disciplinary processes
• Reviewing and approving work plans, work packages, and fabrication/construction approaches
• Coordinating schedules and resources with maintenance teams to ensure work is completed on time and meets customer expectations
• Maintaining a strong field presence to support safety, quality, and productivity
• Leading pre‑job briefs, post‑job reviews, and daily coordination activities
• Monitoring and working toward achieving KPI targets for the team/zone
• Supporting meetings, reporting, and operational alignment activities (POW, safety, planning, etc.)
• Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all organizational and regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned by your manager

• Post‑secondary education with a minimum of 5 years of technical or maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a technical or maintenance environment

• Demonstrated strong leadership capability with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop others
• Demonstrated experience working within regulated environments and applying company procedures and union agreements
• Strong understanding of construction, fabrication, installation, and inspection practices
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and complex construction documents
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and deadlines
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the initiative to resolve issues and coordinate resources effectively
• Experience with systems such as CMMS, Oracle, or similar tools
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors

• Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3‑5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”

• Working schedule:
  Four (4) days per week, ten (10) hours per day for a forty (40) hour work week.
