Inter Rent is looking for a dedicated Fire Safety Specialist to support fire safety in its residential communities. You will collaborate with property management teams, conduct inspections, and develop plans for compliance with the Ontario Fire Code and other regional regulations. This office-based role requires effective communication and teamwork to ensure fire safety standards are met across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular reviews of fire logbooks and records
• Organize and assist in mandated fire drills
• Develop and update fire safety plans annually
• Coordinate with contractors for equipment installations
• Train staff on fire safety protocols and compliance
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Fire Safety
• Knowledge of Ontario, BC, and Quebec Fire Codes
• Strong communication and training skills
• Experience with CAD programs is preferred
• CFI-I designation preferred
