The Senior Advisor collaborates with the Principal of International Policy to monitor, analyze, and shape international developments that influence EDC and its clients. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in trade finance and strong analytical skills to navigate complex issues facing Canadian exporters in today's global market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead analysis of international policy developments affecting trade
• Develop EDC positions on crucial international negotiations
• Engage with government officials to align national trade finance strategies
• Contribute to corporate strategic planning and initiatives
• Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related area
• 8+ years in financing, public policy, or international affairs
• Strong understanding of export credit and financing
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills
• Flexibility to travel and work internationally
Shape global trade strategies while working within a supportive team environment at EDC.
