Strategic Grant Development Manager Role

Elevate funding proposals with your expertise as a Strategic Grant Development Manager, reporting to the Director of Philanthropy. This role focuses on developing compelling proposals for Applied Research initiatives.

In this management role, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of proposal development, from sourcing funding opportunities to submission and follow-up. Collaborating with faculty, researchers, and Advancement teams, your contributions will shape high-quality, funder-aligned narratives that integrate institutional priorities and academic insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development and submission of high-quality grant proposals

• Serve as a resource for narrative development and submission planning

• Translate institutional priorities into compelling proposals

• Track deadlines and ensure proposal compliance

• Strengthen proposal competitiveness through improved positioning

Requirements:

• Four-year degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

• Five years of proposal development experience

• Advanced writing and editing skills required

• Familiarity with proposal management software

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
