As an Architecture Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Architecture team by ensuring information flows efficiently between internal departments, external consultants, municipalities, and our construction teams.
This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, managing processes, and contributing to the successful delivery of residential projects. Working closely with Architectural Technologists, Permit Coordinators, consultants, and other stakeholders, you will help maintain the accuracy of drawing packages, track project information, and support the day-to-day administrative and technical needs of the department.
Here’show you’ll contribute
- Coordinate & track drawing revisions with internal departments, consultants, trades, municipalities, and other external stakeholders.
- Help ensure all required information, approvals, and documentation are available to support permitting and construction activities.
- Work closely with Permit Coordinators to respond to municipal comments, deficiencies, permit-related inquiries, and information requests.
- Assist in the distribution, management, and archiving of drawing packages, records, templates, and departmental document libraries.
- Update working drawings and supporting documentation as directed by the Architecture team, including drafting revisions using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Support the preparation of project reports, meeting materials, technical documentation, and departmental reporting tools.
- Maintain department trackers, schedules, logs, and project-related deadlines while proactively communicating critical information.
- Process and track purchase orders, invoices, and consultant expenditures.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items as required.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of departmental processes, standards, communication, and information management practices.
- Support department initiatives, data collection, research, and special projects.
- Perform other duties consistent with the scope, spirit, and purpose of the role.

- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in architecture, construction, residential development, and/or project coordination, is considered an asset.
- Experience working with residential construction drawings and permit processes is considered an asset.
