The FP&R (Force Posture and Readiness) Project supports a large-scale data readiness and digital transformation initiative to modernize how enterprise data is prepared, governed, and used for decision-making. It combines the development of a standardized, interoperable data platform with data profiling, quality assessment, analytics enablement, and governance in a cloud-aligned environment. The Business Analyst will focus on business requirements gathering, asset classification, and data mapping to improve supply chain processes.
Tasks:
Analyze supply chain data and business processes to support asset classification and taxonomy initiatives. (e.g., Visio, BPMN)Gather, document, and validate business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders across supply chain, operations, and ITDevelop and maintain data mapping rules to ensure consistency and alignment across systemsSupport the design and implementation of data governance and taxonomy frameworksApply knowledge of asset classification and supply chain structures to improve data quality and usabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into functional specificationsPerform data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or visualization platforms to identify trends, gaps, and inconsistenciesFacilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to drive alignment on requirements and solutionsCommunicate findings, recommendations, and project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance data processes and standards
