The Ottawa Catholic School Board seeks a casual Lunch Monitor to oversee student activities during lunch. This role emphasizes strong communication and interpersonal skills while fostering a caring atmosphere. Responsibilities include supervising students in the cafeteria and yard, assisting with lunch containers, and maintaining cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students during lunch breaks in designated areas
• Assist with opening lunch containers for students
• Clean tables after lunch for a tidy environment
• Ensure a calm and safe atmosphere for all students
• Respond effectively in case of any issues or crises
Requirements:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Tact and discretion in handling situations
• First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
• Must provide a negative Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector
Support student well-being and contribute positively to their lunch experiences hael School.
