Ottawa, Canada office (at least three days a week).

Full-time, 8-month position starting September 2026.

Open to co‑ops and interns currently enrolled in full‑time education or recent graduates within 12 months of placement end date.
Compensation range: $19.46 - $28.55 hourly rate.

We build powerful software solutions that transform the supply‑chain industry. To support product adoption and success, we’re seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Intern Content Developer focused on product documentation
. The team creates and maintains high‑quality documentation and knowledge assets that enable users, customers, partners, and internal teams to learn, use, and master the Kinaxis Maestro tool.
The Intern will contribute to clear, user‑focused documentation such as in‑product help, technical guides, release notes, and “what's new” product updates, demystifying complex functionality and ensuring users can find accurate and actionable information when and where they need it.
What you will do- Develop and maintain user‑centered documentation, including in‑product help, technical manuals, feature documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in planning and content strategy discussions with product managers, developers, and UX designers.
- Research new product features and translate technical specifications into clear and concise end‑user documentation.
- Write, edit, and test a variety of content formats primarily product documentation, but also customer‑facing FAQs, onboarding guides, and best practices.
- Produce “what’s new” videos to highlight new feature releases and product enhancements.
- Contribute to content management workflows and help ensure consistency in style, structure, and tone across all documentation assets.
- Experiment with AI tools and content delivery innovations to support scalable documentation strategies.
- Follow established templates and standards, while also contributing to new documentation structures as needed.
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a focus on clarity and usability.
- Passionate about product documentation and helping users understand complex systems.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with documentation and content authoring tools (e.g., Mad Cap Flare, Microsoft Word).
- Working knowledge of content management systems and version control practices.
- Some experience or coursework related to video editing, UX writing, or technical communication.
- Previous exposure to AI‑powered content tools.
- Experience with supply‑chain or enterprise software.
- Knowledge of localization processes and multilingual documentation best practices.
- Skills in multimedia tools like Guidde, Camtasia, Canva, Snagit, or Adobe Creative Suite.
