Position: Volunteer Casting for Short Film
Be part of 'Work in Progress', a dramatic short film set in various Ontario locations. We're looking for local actors to embody characters dealing with the complexities of impending fatherhood.

This casting call invites local talent to consider roles in our independent film project, which will shoot for about seven days from mid-June to late July. The film delves into the challenges of masculinity as experienced by the lead character. This is a no-pay role with meals and transportation covered for the duration of the filming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act in diverse character roles throughout shooting

• Attend auditions prepared with materials

• Collaborate with a creative team on set

• Execute scenes reflecting character depth

• Follow project guidelines and schedules

Requirements:

• Must be local to the Ottawa area

• Submit headshot and updated resume

• Willing to volunteer for the project

• Availability for flexible filming dates

• Prior experience in dramatic roles is a plus
