In this pivotal role, you will work alongside the Pastry Chef to manage kitchen operations effectively. Key Responsibilities:
• Guide and mentor the pastry staff for optimal output
• Ensure quality checks on all pastry items consistently
• Work with the team to design unique dessert offerings
• Ensure a safe workspace while fostering teamwork
• Manage inventory and coordinate food requisitions
Requirements:
• At least 3 years in pastry, ideally in fine dining
• Expertise in a range of pastry techniques and presentation
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Passion for culinary arts and current trends
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred, French an asset
