The CBC Parliamentary Bureau seeks a production specialist skilled in news broadcasting and proficient in both English and French. You will handle video editing, photo composition, and create engaging visual effects to maintain high journalistic standards. Your ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight in high-pressure environments is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit compelling news stories and enhance visual elements
• Create audio components and integrate effects
• Setup field cameras to ensure quality production
• Produce shot lists and oversee all recorded elements
• Maintain documentation for travel and foreign assignments
Requirements:
• College diploma in television production or equivalent
• At least three years of relevant broadcasting experience
• Bilingual in English and French with technical proficiency
• Familiarity with CBC's journalistic standards
• Willingness to travel and work variable hours
