Graphic Design National Representative Position

Make a difference with the Canadian Labour Congress as a National Representative focusing on graphic design.

This role offers the chance to contribute to campaigns for social justice in Ottawa.
Working within the Political Action and Communications team, the successful candidate will be tasked with developing effective graphic content that engages the public in the labour movement. You will bring creativity and expertise in visual communication to help support the CLC's mission of empowering workers. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential in this dynamic temporary position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create graphic design materials for CLC campaigns

• Develop multimedia content suitable for social platforms

• Enhance CLC’s advertising strategy and public outreach

• Collaborate to maintain consistent branding across materials

• Manage external printing and design partner relationships
Requirements:

• Post-secondary qualifications in design or communications

• Proven experience in graphic design and publishing

• Understanding of the labour movement and advocacy

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage projects

• Fluency in both English and French is an asset
Drive visual storytelling to strengthen the CLC's communication goals.
