In this permanent, full-time position, you will leverage your advanced English and French skills to research and write engaging content that includes thorough fact-checking and verification efforts. By collaborating with teams across regions, you will focus on dismantling disinformation by producing content that informs and educates audiences. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring and analyzing trends in fake news to create clear narratives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and track disinformation trends across social media
• Verify claims using open-source intelligence methods
• Create concise scripts for broadcast and online audiences
• Edit and provide feedback on team members’ content
• Collaborate on content exchange with regional partners
Requirements:
• Degree in journalism or equivalent experience
• At least five years in news verification or investigative journalism
• Fluency in English and French
• Understanding of broadcasting and digital ecosystems
• Technical skills in digital tool development are desirable
Contribute to Radio-Canada’s mission by ensuring accurate reporting and facilitating media literacy.
