Contribute to provincial narratives as an Associate Producer focused on French Services at Radio-Canada in Ottawa. This full-time position spotlights your creativity in arts content.
Reporting to the Producer for SAR, you will help deliver dynamic cultural stories while adhering to CBC/Radio-Canada’s journalistic standards. Your efforts will include pitching innovative ideas, curating engaging content, and interacting with on-air guests. You'll also assist in compiling comprehensive research to support producers and reporters during production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curate and pitch compelling regional arts stories
• Assist in developing engaging program content
• Organize interviews and contribution logistics
• Produce reports reflecting public cultural conversations
• Participate in production evaluations and improvements
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience
• At least two years in journalism or production
• Proven ability to write and book guests
• Understanding of Canadian arts and media landscape
• Strong organizational and time management skills
