In this key position, you will support the Team Lead and oversee the editorial work associated with Senate committee proceedings. Your responsibilities will include verifying quotations, coordinating with staff, and managing urgent publication timelines. Key Responsibilities:
• Edit transcripts and committee proceedings for clarity
• Approve content for publication and translation
• Manage edits and maintenance of daily editorial workflow
• Offer expert editorial guidance and mentorship
• Collaborate with the Debates and Publications team
Requirements:
• Completed university degree or equivalent training
• Five years of experience in parliamentary editing
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor others
• Deep understanding of language and style guidelines
• Familiarity with XML applications is a plus
