The Alma Mater Society (AMS) is seeking an Editor in Chief for Collective Reflections. This position, running from August to April, requires commitment to fostering inclusivity through literature and art. You will be responsible for managing publication processes, collaborating with contributors, and promoting diverse voices in the publication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the editorial team in curating and producing the publication
• Manage the publication budget and track expenses
• Review submissions to ensure quality and relevance
• Guide contributors with constructive feedback and support
• Organize and promote events, including launch events
Requirements:
• Proven experience in editorial roles or creative management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively
• Familiarity with anti-oppression topics and social issues
