As a permanent team member, you will research and analyze news stories, providing critical insight into disinformation trends. Proficiency in both French and English is necessary for effective communication. Your writing skills will help inform and engage audiences while fostering collaboration with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate national issues of disinformation
• Verify claims and perform image authentication
• Create clear and informative on-air and digital content
• Provide feedback and editing on team productions
• Work closely with the Décrypteurs team on projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related area
• Minimum of five years’ experience in fact-checking
• Comprehensive knowledge of the digital media landscape
• Familiarity with digital content tools is advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively in both languages
