Position: Associate Producer For French Services

Join CBC/Radio-Canada as an Associate Producer for French Services in Ottawa, ON. This full-time position focuses on arts content, story pitching, and engaging with French-speaking communities.

As an Associate Producer, you will report to the Regional News Service Producer and be integral in delivering quality cultural content. Your role involves pitching story ideas, organizing interviews, and producing audience-relevant reports. Key Responsibilities:

Pitch fresh story ideas aligning with cultural strategies
Curate regional arts content for a nationwide audience
Book French-speaking guests and prepare briefing documents
Develop, write, and edit engaging program content
Conduct thorough evaluations of all production aspects

Requirements:

University degree or equivalent required
Minimum two years of relevant journalism experience
Solid writing and organizational skills
Bilingual in French and English
Familiarity with CBC/Radio-Canada journalistic standards
