Position: Choir Director and Organist Role
Location: Smiths Falls

Become the Choir Director and Organist n the Evangelist Anglican Church in Smiths Falls, ON. Foster musical talent and enhance congregational participation through engaging worship experiences.

This position requires a passionate individual to lead the music ministry and direct the choir n’s. You will work closely with the clergy to curate music for weekly services, special festivals, and other religious ceremonies. A familiarity with diverse musical styles and ability in choral leadership are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate music for Sunday worship and special events

• Support a contemporary music group alongside the choir

• Lead and instruct choir members across age groups

• Establish and manage the music ministry budget

• Ensure proper care and maintenance of church instruments

Requirements:

• Proficiency in organ and choral music

• Experience in leading and teaching choristers
