The Cash Receipts Coordinator provides overall firm support by processing all incoming payments, working with the collections team to navigate payment allocation concerns, and providing updates to firm members related to incoming payments. This position can be based out of any of our Canadian offices.
Responsibilities- Processing incoming wire payments, EFT, cheque and credit card transactions
- Administering client payment reconciliations as needed
- Monitoring incoming client remittance notices and requests
- Other duties as required
- College diploma in accounting or business with a basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with other Firm members and provide outstanding client service
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset

The starting range for this role is $45,000 to $60,000. Starting salary will be determined based on an applicant’s individual skills, competencies and unique qualifications. Gowling WLG employees have the potential to exceed this range based on tenure and performance.
