Volunteer Finance Board Member - CCSA

Make a difference with the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction as a Finance Board Member-at-Large. Utilize your financial acumen to influence strategies that address substance use challenges across Canada.

The CCSA Board of Directors is in search of a finance expert who can contribute valuable governance insights. This volunteer position allows you to collaborate with various community representatives while ensuring effective oversight and strategic direction for the organization. You will attend meetings, participate in committees, and guide ongoing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in Board meetings held in Ottawa or virtually

• Maintain fiduciary and ethical responsibilities

• Participate actively in a Board committee

• Leverage financial management expertise in decision-making

• Support CCSA’s mission to improve community health

Requirements:

• Required financial management experience

• Governance experience on boards is essential

• Knowledge of not-for-profit sector preferred

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills

• Commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity
