Enhance project financials as a Financial Project Coordinator age invoicing, compliance, and overall project lifecycle financial management.
In this vital role, you will ensure accurate project setups in Deltek VantagePoint, conduct thorough billing analyses, and collaborate closely with Project Managers to maintain positive financial trajectories. Your ability to juggle multiple priorities and attention to detail will be key as you assist in monthly closures and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure projects are set up correctly in the accounting system
• Update project information as per contract changes
• Analyze billing to address gaps and corrections
• Communicate project statuses with internal teams monthly
• Drive timely project closure procedures
Requirements:
• At least 4 years of relevant financial management experience
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, especially pivot tables and xlookups
• Post-secondary education in Accounting is preferred
• Proficiency in French is an asset
