Take charge of financial operations at Myers Automotive Group in Ottawa. This on-site Controller position involves overseeing accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

As the Controller, you will ensure accurate day-to-day financial management for the dealership while reporting to the Corporate Controller.

Your role includes preparing financial statements, operating budgets, and overseeing month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial analysis skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day financial accounting

• Prepare detailed financial statements and budgets

• Complete month-end and year-end closing processes

• Balance and reconcile all schedules diligently

• Assist with government sales tax submissions

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of financial data analysis

• Familiarity with tax compliance regulations

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred

• Management experience is an asset
