Join Black & McDonald’s Ottawa team as a Job Cost Analyst, contributing to the ESAP project’s financial oversight and cost analysis. This role emphasizes your skills in job costing and budgeting over a 24-month term.

As a Job Cost Analyst, you will take charge of performance monitoring and reporting functions that support major modernization projects in the National Capital Region. Utilizing JD Edwards software, you’ll analyze budgets, prepare cost forms, and provide essential financial insights. This position offers growth and learning opportunities within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee job cost setup and tracking using JD Edwards

• Monitor project budgets to analyze discrepancies

• Create and manage salary recovery worksheets

• Prepare and analyze productivity reports

• Support month-end and quarterly financial processes

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in accounting or finance

• Advanced skills in Excel and MS Office

• Strong organizational and time management traits

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Experience with financial analysis and reporting
