Take charge of financial direction as the Controller of Finance & Budget at the Ottawa Catholic School Board. This role focuses on budget oversight and financial compliance.

The Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking a dedicated Controller of Finance & Budget to work under the Senior Manager of Finance. Your responsibilities will include preparing and monitoring budgets, providing in-depth financial analysis, and recommending guidelines to senior management. You'll also oversee internal controls and coordinate financial training for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct budget preparation and input for the Board

• Recommend annual budget guidelines to management

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies

• Conduct reviews of budget variances

• Liaise with auditors regarding compliance

Requirements:

• Degree in finance, accounting, or related field

• Certified Professional Accountant (CPA)

• Five years of experience in finance roles
