Maximize financial efficiency as a Cost Control Specialist with Chandos in Chalk River, Ontario. This hybrid role drives cost engineering and forecasting for the Advanced Nuclear Materials Research Centre.

Chandos seeks a skilled Project Controls Specialist to oversee cost management on the ANMRC project. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will implement Earned Value Management (EVM), budget management, and risk analysis strategies to support fiscal discipline and project success. Your collaborative approach with internal teams and stakeholders will be integral in ensuring on-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage budget formulation and commitment tracking

• Establish and maintain EVM baselines and performance measures

• Develop project cash flow forecasts and contingency tracking

• Analyze cost impacts of scope changes and trends

• Compile and distribute insightful cost reports and metrics

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in a relevant technical field

• Minimum 5 years in project cost control

• Strong EVM and cost forecasting skills

• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI

• Must obtain site access clearance for CNL facilities
