CMHC is seeking a Bilingual Multi-Unit Underwriter I to join its Insurance and Securitization team. In this role, you'll assess applications for properties with 5 to 24 units, applying your analytical skills in financial and property risk analysis. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct multi-residential risk assessments for 5-24 unit properties

• Analyze financial, legal, and market-related documents

• Evaluate third-party property appraisal reports for accuracy

• Make informed risk recommendations based on analysis

• Maintain quality client relationships to understand needs

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in business or finance-related field

• Minimum of three years in real estate underwriting or financing

• Strong financial analysis and communication skills

• Proficient in both French and English

• Highly organized with a detail-oriented mindset
