DC Pension Analyst (Temporary)
The DC Pension Analyst will join the Benefits Administration team at TELUS Health, supporting Canadian employees in building stronger financial wellness and security through retirement planning. This temporary position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in pension administration while contributing to a mission‑driven organization committed to employee wellbeing.
Responsibilities- Process inter‑fund transfers, contributions, withdrawals and terminations for clients.
- Generate and distribute regular and ad‑hoc reports for clients.
- Respond to plan member and client inquiries and requests.
- Enter, update and audit information; perform and proof transactions on in‑house software.
- Coordinate with consultants, trust companies and investment‑manager representatives regarding clients' DC plans.
- Perform monthly reconciliations.
- Stay informed of applicable pension, tax and securities legislation and share knowledge with the team.
- Attend internal training sessions to build knowledge of industry topics and trends.
- Maintain quality control and service standards for every transaction.
- Serve as backup, responding to inbound calls from members and clients.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Excellent written and oral English;
French skills are an asset. - Knowledge of group benefits (DB and DC pension or group insurance) is an asset.
- Relevant university degree.
- Current or in‑progress CSC or IFIC designation is considered an asset.
- 1–2 years of experience in a customer‑focused role within the pension industry and foundational knowledge of provincial pension and tax legislation.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a professional approach and initiative in helping clients find solutions.
- Excellent communication and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
Salary Range: 39,900.00 – 65,000.00 CAD annually. Total compensation will be determined based on knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
