As a Portfolio Management Assistant, you will support the Investment Counsellor in managing around 120 client relationships. This role demands strong financial planning and tax knowledge, along with expertise in portfolio management. Your contributions will include preparing financial plans, updating Investment Policy Statements, and assisting with trading activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to and resolve client inquiries efficiently
• Draft meeting materials and attend client meetings
• Prepare client newsletters and assist with financial plans
• Facilitate securities trading as directed
• Help develop materials for business development and proposals
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in a financial client-facing role
• University degree with CIM or CFA Level 1 completion
• PFP or CFP certification preferred
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Attention to detail and strong communication abilities
