IEQ Capital is looking for amotivated professional to join our Foster City-based team as an Associate. The Associate will work closely with the rest of the team to manage important elements of the client relationship. This role will help build the foundation you need to successfully grow within the company. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the Partners and their team by providing operational functions such as:
  • Money movement (i.e. wire and journals)
  • Account creation and maintenance
  • Ad hoc project management
  • Portfolio performance updates
  • Database management
• Communicate with clients regarding transactions, such as asset transfers and account opening procedures
• Participate in educational sessions with the senior team members to expand the Associate’s knowledge of the markets and our business

Several former Associates are now Partners.

• 1-2+ years of relevant work or internship experience preferred
• Deep curiosity about the financial markets
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to think critically and anticipate issues
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
• Good relationship-building skills both inside and outside of the organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-pressure environment
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• “No task is too small” mentality
• Bachelor’s degree is required

The total compensation range for this role, inclusive of base salary and bonus, is $70,000 - $97,500, depending on skills and experience.
