Director of Finance in Real Estate

Join a recognized leader in real estate as their Director of Finance. Collaborate with the CFO in a strategic, hands-on role to drive financial operations and reporting.

This position offers an opportunity to lead a small finance team and manage the property management division's financial operations. You will be responsible for preparing financial reports, overseeing budgeting, and ensuring compliance with IFRS/ASPE standards. Working closely with investors and senior leaders, you will provide insights that influence decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present financial results for multiple entities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections

• Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance

• Manage investor communications for REIT and LP structures

• Mentor team members and drive process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

• 6-9+ years of progressive finance experience

• Proven leadership capabilities in team management

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience in real estate or property management is an asset
