Join Go Fund Me as a Financial Crime Operations Leader, ensuring safety within our community-focused platform. Oversee transaction monitoring and investigative processes to mitigate financial risks.
In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the first-line financial crime function, focusing on transaction monitoring and enhanced due diligence. With a hands-on operational approach, you will develop workflows, metrics, and standards, collaborating with multiple departments to enhance our risk management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the operations of Transaction Monitoring and EDD teams
• Develop and refine financial crime detection models
• Partner with Product and Engineering on control integration
• Ensure monitoring outputs and investigations are thoroughly documented
• Create reports on operational health for senior leadership
Requirements:
• At least 8 years in financial crime operations
• Leadership experience in a regulated financial environment
• Strong grasp of AML, risk types, and suspicious activity
• Proven skills in managing and developing operational teams
• Comfortable working with product and engineering teams
