Your Role- Preparing and submitting GST-HST/QST returns.
- Preparing and submitting non-resident withholding taxes remittances.
- Preparing corporate federal income tax returns (T2) using Taxprep and preparing US schedules for annual returns.
- Researching and assisting the Director, Taxation in providing accurate, timely tax advice on commodity taxes, payroll issues, international tax and income taxes.
- Assisting with the management of external tax audits and preparing briefs in support of tax filing positions.
- Assisting with New ERP implementation testing and implementation.
- Providing Certificates of residency and other certificates as requested.
- University degree in a relevant discipline (Accounting or Finance).
- 3-5 years of minimum related experience in tax or a similar finance environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, excel) and Google suite.
- Experience with Taxprep and ERP systems is considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate professionally in English and French is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
