This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting informed decision-making, and identifying opportunities to enhance processes and overall efficiency. The successful candidate will be a proactive, solutions-oriented professional with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. They will demonstrate exceptional diligence, the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively, and the ability to perform under pressure in a high-performance environment.
The successful candidate will:
Manage financial reporting and analysis for development projects, including budgeting, cash flow, profitability tracking, and cost monitoring.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, including reconciliations, working papers, and ad hoc analysis.
Coordinate treasury activities such as bank draws, cash calls, and intercompany transactions while maintaining accurate financial records.
Partner with cross-functional teams to review project status, ensure data accuracy, and support business reporting needs.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, internal controls, reporting systems, and overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
Degree in Finance, Accounting or related fieldCPA designation is complete or in progress3+ years of experience in accounting
Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-focused and collaborative approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
Proficient in Excel, including functions and pivot tables, with strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Assets:
Public Accounting experience
Real estate, construction, or manufacturing experience
Compensation:$90,000 – $110,000 annual salary
Strong benefits package3 weeks’ vacation + 2-week Christmas shutdown
