About the team

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team partners with leaders across the company to help drive business decisions.

They workwithstakeholdersto highlight insights and analysis needed to make data-driven decisions thathelpfuel growth and operational excellence.

The Director,Financial Planning & Analysis,is a trusted advisor and subject matter expertwhobrings a depth and breadth of knowledge and expertise in leading, directing,and developing the overall operations and deliveryofrevenueforecasting,consolidated forecasts and reporting, external metrics, and evolvingfinancialplanningstrategies within Kinaxis.

This role is ideal for aforward-thinking finance leader who combines deep financialexpertisewith strong business acumen, operational excellence, and a passion for transforming finance through data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Partnering closely with theVP, Financial Planning & Analysis the Director,Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible foreffectivemanagement and continuous improvement of budgeting and forecasting cyclesandprovidesstrategic financial consultation and support to the business.

What you will do Business Performance & FP&A Excellence
  • Build an integrated, enterprise-wide planning process across business units and regionsto drive businessobjectivesand long-term growth.
  • Develop key financial models and scenarios to evaluate strategic initiatives and investments, with a view to multi-year projections.
  • Lead scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial modeling to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage and drive management reporting – analyze financial results, distill and synthesize issues and communicate key messages (including business risks) to the senior leadership team.
  • Support Board reporting, executive presentations, and investor reporting and communications.
  • Deliver actionable financial insights that influence investment priorities, resource allocation, pricing, and growth initiatives.
  • Demonstrated outstanding communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
  • Develop KPIs and performance dashboards that providetimelyvisibility into business health.
  • Foster strong partnerships acrossthe organization including

    Product, Sales, Corporate Functions and other teams.
Finance Transformation & Technology
  • Modernize FP&A through automation, AI-enabled analytics, and scalable planning technologies.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement of strategies, processes, systems,and policies toenhance the speed and effectiveness of forecasting and reporting.
