Martello Technologies seeks a Finance Associate to enhance our finance team in Ottawa. This hybrid role focuses on payroll and accounting accuracy in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

As a Finance Associate, you’ll handle vendor payments and month-end closings while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your strong organizational skills will help maintain accurate documentation and support payroll processing for our Canadian entity. Collaboration and independent management of tasks will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payments across multiple banking platforms

• Administer payroll data and related changes

• Conduct monthly reconciliations for GL accounts

• Prepare journal entries for various transactions

• Assist with overall payroll procedure improvements

Requirements:

• Progressive experience in general accounting

• Post-secondary education in business or finance

• Interest in CPA certification

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets

• Ability to improve financial processes
