Conference Porter

We're looking for an energetic, jovial person with a knack for "making the day" for those he or she comes into contact with through spontaneous attentions. The Conference Porter is a committed and independent participant in the smooth running of events. They are committed to providing prompt, attentive service, whatever the task anized and positive, the holder of this multidisciplinary position knows how to be in solution mode to respond effectively to the various demands that occupy his/her day.

• Provide high‑quality service by working in collaboration with several departments;
• Set up and dismantle meeting rooms, banquet spaces and lunch areas according to event requirements;
• Serve meals, coffee breaks and refreshments, and assist guests with their needs, throughout the event;
• Welcome clients, present meeting rooms and ensure spaces are ready and inviting upon arrival;
• Clear breakfast, lunch and event areas, and handle dishwashing, cleaning and proper storage of equipment;
• Reset and prepare meeting and banquet rooms for upcoming events, including handling and room setups;
• Support cocktail receptions by serving wine, beer and basic mixed drinks;
• Maintain clean, organized and well‑stocked service areas at all times.

• Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel and/or Restaurant Management, an asset;
• Experience in restaurant service, an asset;
• Good time management and adaptability;
• Determination and team spirit;
• Good physical fitness: standing for long periods, lifting loads and performing certain repetitive tasks;
• Valid Smart Serve certification.
