EVENT SERVERWe are looking for an event server to join our team. - Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Good physical condition, as this position requires constant walking, standing, bending and lifting
- Understanding of Audio-Visual technology
- Involvement in several types of service including breakfasts, lunches, coffee breaks, plated dinners and buffet dinners
- Executing daily work activities according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
- Anticipating guests’ needs; acknowledge and respond promptly to guest requests
- Working as part of a team and communicating with your colleagues to ensure a smooth event
- Clearing tables as needed throughout the event
- Setting up and tearing down of meetings, functions, receptions, including moving tables and chairs
- Working with groups from 2 to 200 guests
- Serving all guests with a high level of service and in a timely fashion
- Cleaning up after events including removal of décor, taking down the buffet, vacuuming, removing dirty dishware, sanitizing tables
- Other duties as assigned
