The Role:
You will have the opportunity to bepart ofa very specialteam for Live Nation’snewest
Canadian venue, HISTORY Ottawa.
A state-of-the-artvenuewith a capacity of up to 2000hostingover 180 concerts and private events annually.

Responsibilities:
Handle dutiesincluding;stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, and wine, including lifting/moving up to 25lbs.
Perform various opening and closing barbackduties. Ensuring the bar is consistently up toappropriate standardsfor flawless execution
Ensure stock is rotated and stored correctly, reporting any damage and waste.
Maintains back of house areas including stockrooms, making sure they arekept clean and tidy at all times.
Energetic and willingness to be active in the workplace, completing tasks that are both physical and repetitive
Recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicatedand bring them to theattention of abartender/server,managerand/orsecurity
Create anatmospherewhere coworkers are connected andcommittedthrough seamless communicationand the willingness to help others win
Qualifications
:
Must be Smart Serve Certified and atleast 19 years of age
1-2 years of experience as a barback or similar role in a high-volume environment withhigh standards
Knowledge of various spirits, beers,winesand champagnes
Takes great initiative andis able toanticipatethe needs of bartenders
Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending forlong periodsof time
Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced andhigh volumeenvironment whilemaintaininga first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience
Strong communicationskills, written and verbal in
Liaiseswith F&B management team on par levels and various other food and beverage needs
A passion for live events and desire to ensure every customer experience is exceptional!
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays asrequired
The expected compensation for this position in Ontariois: $17.60 per hour.
