Job Description:
Reporting to the Conference and Events Manager within Conference Services, the incumbent responds to a wide variety of needs on behalf of internal and external clients to facilitate event activity for college related activity at the Ottawa campus. The incumbent will act as a resource person during the planning and execution of identified events, conferences, and catering. The incumbent will perform some financial support services and will maintain contact with college stakeholders to ensure clear communication of event activity has been cascaded to the appropriate departments.

- Minimum two (2) year Diploma; fields considered assets:
Event Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, Meeting and Convention Management or equivalent. - Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in planning, executing and evaluation of conference and/or events; experience within a post-secondary setting and catering sales experience is an asset.
- Experience working in team environments with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships/partnerships.
- Comfortable in a computerized environment, including Microsoft Office; experience utilizing an event planning software or customer relationship management software (asset).
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills; strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; thorough knowledge of communication techniques; exceptional attention to detail.
Typical hours of work would occur Monday to Friday for up to 24 hours a week. Early morning, evening, and weekend availability may be required based on event schedules.

Compensation and BenefitsCompensation:
Salary range $21.30–$24.75 per hour. Benefits vary by position and may include health, dental, and retirement plans designed to support well-being.
