Position: Experience Development Specialist Tourism
Contribute to Ottawa's tourism growth as an Experience Development Specialist. This hybrid position focuses on engaging stakeholders and enhancing visitor experiences in Ottawa.

Reporting to the Director of Experience Development at Ottawa Tourism, you will join the Destination Development team dedicated to promoting local tourism.

Your role emphasizes identifying strategic opportunities that attract visitors to the city. You will work closely with event operators and tourism product creators to develop and improve major leisure events and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support strategic goals in tourism development

• Generate and assess local tourism experience opportunities

• Collaborate with cultural and event stakeholders

• Field funding support for major tourism events

• Act as an ambassador for Ottawa Tourism at events

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tourism

• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills

• Proficient in data-informed decision making

• Critical thinking and analytical ability to assess projects
