- Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest’s name when possible
- Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies.
- Ensures bar is set properly.
- Ensures all soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meets service standards.
- Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shift.
- Prepares all mixes and garnishes.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift.
- Notify management of maintenance repair issues relating to the bar and service area.
- Complete any additional reasonable requests by management.
- Demonstrates impeccable product knowledge.
- Answer questions - accurately and politely.
- Direct guests to areas & restrooms.
- Create memorable experiences.
- Entertain guests with AMPLIFIED SERVICE.
- Lives the Brand.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino, high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk distances.
- The employee must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
