Our dynamic client in the Central Ottawa area is looking for a Bilingual Payroll Administrator to join their nationally-recognized, growing organization on a permanent, full-time basis for a newly created position.

• Ensure accurate and timely bi‑weekly high volume payroll processing, on both an hourly and salary basis
• Administer and reconcile Benefits and Pension plans, record subsequent remittances
• Process WSIB & EHT remittances, CRA source deductions
• Reconcile Payroll accounts, working closely with the GL and appropriate Balance Sheets
• Input changes to employee payroll records maintained in the payroll system
• Process terminations/ROEs, T4s
• Keep up to date with payroll best practices and legislative changes
• Maximizing efficiencies, maintaining operational standards and adhering to department policies and procedures
• Act as a professional point of contact for staff payroll inquiries
• Conduct other payroll, HR, and finance duties as required

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Must be fluently Bilingual in both official languages (English, French)
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with National payroll a strong asset
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Designation is a strong asset
• Strong technical skills, ability to learn new software
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem‑solving skills, and ability to prioritize
• Excellent communication skills—written, oral, comprehension
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self‑starter, collaborative
• Understanding & application of strict confidentiality

The salary band for this role is $60K-$65K, depending on relevant experience.
