Become an HR & Payroll Administrator with a reputable client in Ottawa, responsible for payroll processing and HR administrative tasks in a multi-union environment.
You will manage payroll for union and non-union staff and streamline onboarding and off-boarding procedures. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in HR principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage weekly payroll processes for employees
• Complete all necessary tax and union remittances timely
• Coordinate employee onboarding, benefits, and off-boarding
• Field employee inquiries regarding benefits and training
• Support recruitment efforts from job postings to offers
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience essential
• Preferred post-secondary education in Human Resources
• PCP designation is a significant advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken
