CMHC Hybrid HR Intern

Position: CMHC Hybrid HR Intern Role
Kickstart your career in Human Resources as a full-time intern with CMHC in Ottawa or Montreal, starting this Fall! This hybrid role focuses on real HR experiences and development.

The internship runs from September to December 2026, welcoming university students or recent grads from HR management or similar disciplines. You'll assist in executing HR initiatives, from performance management to leadership development. Strong organizational skills and good judgment are essential as you work autonomously and within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate implementation of HR initiatives and programs

• Provide assistance for client inquiries and technical advice

• Maintain records in accordance with established procedures

• Compile information for HR research and reporting

• Promote diversity and inclusion efforts through HR projects

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled or graduated in HR management or related area

• Relevant operational support experience is preferred

• Proficient communication skills, both oral and written

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
