Overview
Become a pivotal part of student outreach as the Recruitment Liaison Officer at the University of Ottawa. Drive student engagement, manage recruitment strategies, and represent the university throughout Canada and the U.S. As an Intermediate Liaison in Student Recruitment, you will play a crucial role in implementing the university's recruitment strategies.
With a focus on enhancing relationships with high-school and CEGEP guidance counsellors, you will promote undergraduate programs effectively.
Utilize your marketing and communication skills to enhance student recruitment efforts at the University of Ottawa.
Responsibilities- Develop recruitment strategies aligned with the university’s objectives
- Counsel students and guidance counsellors about admissions and programs
- Craft and deliver engaging presentations for diverse audiences
- Foster close relationships with educational institutions
- Organize and evaluate recruitment events for effectiveness
- Orchestrate events, address inquiries, and use communication tools to reach prospective students
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years in client services or marketing
- Valid driver’s license for travel
- Bilingual in French and English
- Experience in public presentations
