As the HR and Labour Relations Manager, you will work closely with store operations in the Ottawa region. Your responsibilities include coaching store teams, negotiating agreements with Unions, and overseeing HR functions across the company. By supporting compliance and addressing grievances, you will play a key role in maintaining positive employee relations and enhancing organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead collective agreement negotiations for store operations
• Advise on agreement administration and grievance resolutions
• Coach store teams on employee-union interactions
• Support performance management and recruitment initiatives
• Coordinate and approve personnel changes such as promotions
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of related HR experience required
• CHRL/CHRP designation considered an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High professionalism, time management, and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to inclusion and diversity in the workplace
