As a Talent Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting Talent Acquisition and HR operations across our Ottawa Region (Ottawa, Kanata and Gatineau). You will be the local Talent resource for hiring managers while working closely with the national Talent team, HR Business Partners and our Business Systems Analyst.

This is a diverse role where you'll combine recruitment coordination, HR administration, documentation, process optimization and HR systems support. You'll help ensure our Talent processes are efficient, consistent and provide an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

What you'll doRecruitment Coordination
  • Coordinate recruitment activities for the Ottawa region.
  • Create, update and optimize job postings.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support sourcing activities for selected positions.
  • Assist with campus recruitment and internship hiring initiatives.
  • Support the Talent Business Partners on recruitment projects and hiring priorities.
Talent Operations & HR Administration
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities, onboarding and employment documentation.
  • Support recruitment administration and maintain accurate employee and candidate records.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, reports and key performance indicators.
  • Support the use and continuous improvement of Dayforce and other HR systems.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Talent data.
Process Documentation & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop, update and maintain Talent documentation, templates, guides and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with process mapping and workflow documentation to support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Business Systems Analyst to document business requirements, improve workflows and support HR system enhancements.
  • Participate in the development and standardization of Talent processes, tools and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency of the Talent function.
Employee experience
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees.
  • Support Talent communication and documentation.
  • Participate in HR and Talent projects as required.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders across the region.

What we're looking for
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR coordination or HR operations.
  • Experience coordinating recruitment activities and supporting hiring managers.
  • Strong interest in process improvement, documentation and HR systems.
  • Experience with an ATS or HRIS (Dayforce is considered an asset).
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
