Working with one of Ottawa’s prestigious national associations, LRO Staffing is collaborating in the hire of a Senior Advisor, People & Culture. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this position is focused on employee engagement, corporate culture and recruitment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact through operational HR guidance, leadership of committees and corporate culture initiatives.

Working with one of Ottawa’s prestigious national associations, LRO Staffing is collaborating in the hire of a Senior Advisor, People & Culture. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this position is focused on employee engagement, corporate culture and recruitment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact through operational HR guidance, leadership of committees and corporate culture initiatives.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership and guidance through the recruitment process; through participation and influence grounded in the guiding principles of the corporate culture
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on policies and practices to support consistent, effective people management
- Lead working groups who inform the HR function
- Play in instrumental part in HR operations, from program execution to record keeping HRIS maintenance
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post secondary education in Human Resources or related field with an HR designation being considered an asset
- Over five years of relevant HR experience including experience in Recruitment, Employee Relations, HR Programs and Performance Management
- Experience supporting HR committees and driving engagement and outcomes
- Knowledge of the Employment Standards Act together with HR best-practices
This position is a full time/term position offering an annual salary of $90,000 to $110,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. They are conveniently located downtown and offer a hybrid work arrangement that will see most employees in office twice weekly with occasional exceptions.
